Turbo-tastic!

After many years of wanting to get one I finally found a TurboGrafx-16 at the MCM expo in Birmingham! It was a sealed console and came with the pack in game, Blazing Lazers, and a sealed copy of Pac-Land, which I don't plan on opening as I've not heard very good things about it. If anyone wants to trade for a different game then send me a message.

Probably a lot of readers won't know very much, or anything about the TurboGrafx, so I will quickly explain a bit about it. The TurboGrafx, named PC-Engine in Japan is a console created by NEC. The system only had a very small release in the UK by Telegames. There was no full scale PAL release which makes it very hard to find. In America the system was more successful. The main format of games for the system are HU cards, which are small cards, about the size of a credit card. There was a CD add-on which allows you to run Turbo CD and Super CD games. To run the Turbo and Super CD games you needed to have an additional HU Card which slots into the system to give it more memory. Later on in the systems life there were many different versions released which combined the standard Turbo Grafx / PC-Engine and the CD add-ons. The best of these was the Turbo Duo which had extra memory and combined the Super CD, HU card and the improvements of the super system 3 HU card expansion.

You can read more about the TurboGrafx and PC-Engine here: http://www.racketboy.com/retro/turbografx-16/tubrografix-16-tg16-101-beginners-guide

You can see the difference here between the US and Japanese versions of the console. the Japanese console is much smaller and, in my opinion, a much better design. Both have expansion ports on the back for attaching their CD units. Both systems had several re-designs which did not sell very well, making them very sought after by collectors.
The system was originally designed to compete with the NES and Mastersystem, but due to the timing of its release it was actually more in competition with the MegaDrive / Genesis and Super Nintendo. Thankfully, the console, although actually only using an 8-Bit processor, was capable of similar graphics to the SNES and MD, and actually out performed the SNES in terms of speed, making most shooting games perform a lot smoother on the TurboGrafx.

So its all a bit confusing, and these days, quite expensive, to be able to play all the games available for the Turbo Grafx. For this post I will be focusing only on games that were made for the HU card.

These are some games I hope to get in the future for the system!

Bomberman 93 / 94

Parodius

Detana Twinbee

Neutopia

Parasol Stars

Dragons Curse

Super Star Soldier

Maybe one day I can get a CD unit or a combo system and look into getting some CD games, but for now there's plenty for me to enjoy and collect!

A great place to look for TurboGrafx game reviews / opinions is the Youtube channel Spida1a, he is attempting to review every single TurboGrafx game released in the US. There are many in depth video's for every game. check the channel out here http://www.youtube.com/user/spida1a

Also worth mentioning is Episode 2 of the AllGenGamers Podcast in which they discuss TurboGrafx and PC-Engine. It's quite long but definitely worth a listen! http://www.allgengamers.com/home/2010/8/11/episode-2-turbo-grafx-16-pc-engine-everything-you-want-to-kn.html

Mighty Inafune Man!

Classic Japanese Side-Scrolling Action...
             TRANSFORMED!

Many of you may have heard of the game "Mighty No.9" Which was announced a few weeks ago at PAX. The kickstarter has been online for nearly two weeks and already has more than double its original target!

A new game in the traditional MegaMan style! I was very excited when I heard about it and, of course, I have backed the project. The reaction that Keiji Inafune was thinking of creating a new 2D platformer was amazing at the event in PAX, you can see here just how excited everyone was to hear about it! Skip to 27:00 to see the announcement.

So, Who is Keiji Inafune and why is his new game so important?

Keiji Inafune is one of the most important Japanese Video Game Developers, Since the 8-Bit era he has been creating games. Since graduating school, he immediately went to work for Capcom as an illustrator for a new series, Street Fighter. From there he went onto create a new game, which would go onto become one of the most loved gaming franchises of all time, MegaMan. As well as this, he also made, Dead Rising, Onimusha, Lost Planet and more. In 2010 he left Capcom to set up his own studio, Comcept. So far in this new studio he has made a few games, Soul Sacrifice for the Vita, Bugs Vs Tanks (Part of Guild 02) for the 3DS and is currently working on Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z for PS3 and Xbox 360. Oh, he is also a spaceship in the new Hyperdimension Neptunia V...

Of course, I'm most interested in MegaMan. Being a fan of the series all my life, If you read my post "How a nintendo fan came to be." then you will know that MegaMan 4 was one of the first games I ever played and left a lasting impression on me ever since. The classic 8-Bit series is one of my favourite series ever, and the X games are amazing too... Well they were up to X4. I haven't played many after that point but by that point in the series Inafune was no longer in charge of the development. The X series was actually meant to end at the 4th installment. For me, the MegaMan side scrolling games are some of the best examples of 2D platforming at its purest, good level design, hard enemies and bosses, fun weapon powerups, great music. Everything you could want from an action platformer. There were also some RPG series, Legends, Battle Network and Starforce, all three were well received and got several sequels each.

Mighty No.9 looks set to offer the great platforming style of the MegaMan games, and add brand new ideas and a new graphic style to make what hopefully, will be Inafune's new platforming series! Known for its unique, colourful art style, MegaMan has many characters, each one colourful and unique and has a name relating to music, Rock (Named MegaMan outside of Japan) , Roll, Bass, Tron Bonne Etc.
MegaMan
(Legends Version)
Roll
(Battle Network Version)

Mighty No.9 seems to be continuing this trend of having names which all relate to each other, the the moment, only the main character, Beck and his assistant(?) Call have been announced, but you can see how they fit together which i think is very clever and i hope the names of the other characters are this creative as well!

The art style is very similar to the MegaMan series, which is a good thing. I love the new designs, and the best thing is, there will be polls in the MN.9 community to help decide the final versions of the characters!

some of the ideas for Call

Before this, there was another community driven project, Megaman Legends 3. The project sadly got cancelled, upsetting many fans, and since then Capcom have cancelled many more Megaman games as well, including the online game Rockman Online, Megaman Universe (Which was set to have a full level editor and the ability to download and play user created levels!)And even an FPS game, Maveric Hunter, which was being developed by some of the team who made Metroid Prime!. http://www.polygon.com/2013/4/9/4179628/mega-man-fps-maverick-hunter

After all these cancellations, everyone had given up hope for a new proper MegaMan game, Inafune had left Capcom, and Capcom didn't seem to know what they were doing with the franchise. Sure they released mobile versions of some older games and revealed some on Virtual Console, and the terrible Xover... But it wasn't enough. The only game released for the 25th anniversary was a fan game that Capcom bought the rights to, Street Fighter X MegaMan.

Fans began to create their own MegaMan games such as the amazing MegaMan Unlimited. http://megaphilx.com/?page_id=26 They are even trying to remake Legends 3 in 8-Bit for PC as well. http://www.gamnesia.com/news/mega-man-legends-3-getting-an-8-bit-remake-capcom-staff-aiding-in-creation There is a website to bring back Legends 3, its called Get Me Off The Moon, or 100,000 Strong for bringing back MegaMan Legends 3. They recently made this video to thank the fans for reaching their goal.

Check out the Kickstarter page for Mighty No.9 for more details. They update regularly with new design ideas and making of videos! Now there is just the long wait until 2015 when the game will be released!
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mightyno9/mighty-no-9 It only needs a bit more to guarantee a WiiU version so lets make it happen!!

I hope one day Capcom does decide to bring back MegaMan in a new platforming game, but until then, we have Mighty No.9 to look forward to!

Taito 60th Anniversary

As some of you may know, Taito is this year celebrating their 60th anniversary. They began in the 50's distributing vending machines and jukeboxes, in the 70's they entered the arcade game industry with their first game, Astro Race, in 1973. It wouldn't be until '78 and the release of Space Invaders, they would go on to become one of the worlds biggest arcade game manufacturers. Since then, they created some of the best arcade, and console games of the generation. Although they slowed down a bit in the early 2000's, they are still going strong, creating new arcade and console experiences, such as the new iOS and arcade game, Groove Coaster.

Here's why I love Taito.

Lets start with Bubble Bobble,

You play as one of two dinosaurs, Bub or Bob, your goal is to blow bubbles and trap the enemies inside, then pop the bubbles to kill the enemy. Kill all the enemies to move onto the next screen, it sounds easy, but once the game introduces new enemy types and power ups it can get very challenging!

It began in the arcades in 1986, since then the series has had countless sequels, ports and remakes. My personal favorite of all the versions is Bubble Bobble Part 2 for the GameBoy, as one of the first GameBoy games I owned, I played it a huge amount, learning all the levels and even now I can remember some of the passwords! The game gets quite challenging later on and to this day I have still never completed it. As well as the standard bubble bobble game, there were also some sequels and spin off games from the franchise including the excellent Parasol Stars and the less excellent, but still fun, Rainbow Islands. They also created a spin off franchise called Puzzle Bobble, also known as, Bust a Move. With its very addictive gameplay, fun characters and catchy music, the Bubble Bobble series is still going strong, with new games and merchandise coming out all the time.
I <3 Bubble Bobble!

Taito also made several other platformers in the Bubble Bobble style including Liquid Kids, Chack'n'Pop and the fun "Fairyland Story" and "Newzeland Story" games.

Fairyland Story most closely resembles Bubble Bobble but instead of a dinosaur, you play as a witch with a magic wand that turns enemies into cakes, you can then push the cakes off ledges to kill the enemies or squash the ones walking below. It may sound simple but it does get hard, fast!

Liquid Kids is a fun, cute platforming game and shows its Bubble Bobble roots in the form of the main characters attack, a giant ball of water which creates waves across the stage similar to how the water bubbles power up's work in Bubble Bobble. In fact, on some releases, the game was titled Bubble Bobble 4: Liquid Kids.
Screenshot from "Liquid Kids"

As you might have noticed so far, Taito has a reputation for creating cute game with colourful graphics and simple gameplay mechanics, This is not the only kind of game they make though there are also Shoot'em up's, Racing games, and even an FMV game called Time Gal for the Sega CD! The "Darius" Series of Shmups were popular in the arcades for the 3 screen display, using three separate screens lined up side by side, it gave the players a much wider view of the level, recently there has been a new Darius game, Darius Burst, released in arcades, and this too utilities the same wide screen format.

Taito have made quite a few other Shooter games, including the action games, Ray Force and Ray Storm. and vertical scrolling shooters including the time travelling(!!) vertical shooter, Gekirindan, which plays a lot like one of the Raiden games. They also published the Castle Shikigami games. Surprisingly they have also made a few RPG's, most notable, the Lufia series on the SNES, not games I have had the chance to play, but from what I've heard, they are excellent RPG's and some of the best on the SNES, a console which has many amazing games in the genre already.

More recently, Taito have been releasing updated versions of their classic titles, with releases such as Space Invaders Extreme, Arkanoid DS (which comes with a strange attachment which literally turns your DS into a breakout paddle!) several new Bobble Bobble and Bust a Move games also for the DS and other portable systems, Elevator Action and Darius Burst for arcades, among others. They have also released Taito Legends Vol 1 and 2, for PC, PS2 and Xbox. These are a great (and cheap) ways of getting to know their long history and play some really fun games, there is also a collection on the PSP if you prefer to play on the go.

In Japan, there are several "Taito Stations" which are whole arcades dedicated to just Taito games and prizes! As well as games, Taito also has their own range of prize machines. You can win Taito brand prizes including anime figures, Plushes and more! My uncle visited Japan a few years ago and took this picture, to say i'm jealous is an understatement!...

At one point, they did have their own console in the works, the Taito WoWoW, it would be able to play arcade perfect versions of their games, and also link up to a satellite and download games through a service similar to Nintendo's Satellaview (which also used WoWoW's satellite signal) or Sega's  Sega Channel services which were popular in the early 90's. Here is one of the only pictures of the console, it was shown off at a few events before being cancelled entirely.

The cancelled Taito WoWoW console

Hope you enjoyed reading about one of my favourite companies, here's to another 60 years of Taito games!

Not related to the company, but my girlfriend recently got a new kitten and called it Taito! (apparently named after an owl from Legends of the Guardians... but I prefer to think of it as named after the company!)
Taito, even cuter than their characters!

Most nostalgic Games

This was actually going to be a youtube video in response to the Happy Console Gamer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGh2JGXRVww) , however, at the moment it is hard for me to record video's showing certain games as I don't have access to all of them for the time being. So I decided to write this post instead. This is not a list of my "favourite" games, merely the ones that have had a big impact on me over the years.

8-Bit

My most nostalgic NES game is not one of the Mario games, its not even made by Nintendo. Many people actually believe this to be one of the weaker entries in the series, but for me, Megaman 4 stands out as one of the best games on the system and a game I grew up with and have spent far too many hours playing over and over again. Everything about the game, from the levels, to the music and graphics brings back great memories for me. So much of the game is memorable for me, Skull Man's end of stage with the bright red background and crazy hard boss fight, Dive man's underwater sections with giant robot whales, finding a secret path in Pharaoh man's stage, fighting my way through Dr Cossack's castle and fighting Dr Wily at the end.

Also for the 8-Bit generation I can't forget the Game Boy, every day after school I would take the Game Boy to my Nan's, along with a big case of games to play while I was there. There were so many amazing Game Boy games that I could choose for this, Pokemon, Mario, Mega Man, Zelda, but the game I remember most is not such a well known game as those, it is... Dragon Warrior Monsters! I never used to actually own this game, instead I would play it on a multi-game cart that I had which had something like 100 gameboy and gameboy colour games on. Since then I have of course got my own copy of the game, and the sequel. Apparently there is a remake of the game coming out for the 3DS! I hope it gets released here and doesn't stay a Japan exclusive! I loved the Slimes in that game so much i even came up with my own monsters called Spot Slimes, I created lots of them and one of them was even made into a toy for me! But maybe i'll write about that another time..

16-Bit

For me, The 16-Bit era was all to do with the SNES! There is no doubt that for me, the Snes was, and still is, the best console ever. With so many amazing games from all genres. There is also one game in particular that stands out to me as the most nostalgic, that game is Kirby's Fun Pak. Certainly one of my most played games ever, I would play it all the time, I loved everything about it, the way the game was broken down into smaller games meant that it always felt fresh to play though, as you can play them in almost any order you like. My favourites were Revenge of Metaknight and Milky Way Wishes. I also loved the challenge of collecting all the treasure in the Great Cave Offensive and racing against Dedede in the Gourmet Race! This is a game I can go back to play and play many many times and never get bored of. It's easily the best Kirby game and one of my all time favourites.

I didn't really know anyone who had a Mega-Drive or play much of my own so I don't have any particularly strong memories of playing one, apart from getting very annoyed at Sonic 1, trying to get through Marble Zone!

32-Bit / 64-Bit

As I was a "Nintendo Kid" I skipped out on PS1 and Saturn in favour of the N64, i was not disappointed, the N64 has a great library of games to play! Probably the most memorable game for me is Banjo Kazooie, I loved the game, I remember getting every Jiggy and music note, the levels are so memorable, from the scary shark that chases you in Treasure Trove Cove, to the giant underwater metal fish in Clankers Cavern and the epic final showdown with Gruntilda which begins with a board game and a quiz show!

As i never really had either a Saturn or PS1 until more recently i will only say one game for both, this game is, Pandemonium! I never actually owned the game, just played it at an adventure play area but playing the game on one of those PS1 demo machines stayed in my mind ever since, so I was very excited to get my own copy on the Saturn a few years ago!

I will also count the GBA as part of the 32-Bit section, as with the original Gameboy, I spent many hours playing the GBA at my nans house after school, there are many memorable games for the system, such as Pokemon Emerald, which is my favourite pokemon game of the whole franchise, and Golden sun, a fantastic RPG that I would play every day. But the game that sticks out in my mind is a bomberman game, Bomberman Tournament, i'm not sure why I enjoyed this game so much, it was a standard action RPG mixed with a bomberman game for the dungeons, it also had creatures you could raise and battle a bit like pokemon, its by no means a perfect game but I did enjoy it and watching the intro and hearing that music brings back good memories for me. Another choice would be Megaman Battle Network 3, I spent many hours collecting the cards to use in battles and playing it alongside a friend at school, we would discuss the game and it was just a great fun RPG!

128-Bit

Getting more recent now, I will only mention the gamecube, as, like the 32-Bit era, I skipped out on the PS2 and Xbox in favour of the Gamecube, another great console, even though it overlooked by many, it had lots of great exclusive games. One game that will always stand out for me is one that I was excited about for a very long time before its release, Star Fox Adventures, it used to be known as Dinosaur Planet and was scheduled for release on the N64 before being delayed to become a Gamecube title, and ultimately, Rare's last console Nintendo game. It was worth the wait! Several years of reading about the game in magazines had me so hyped to play it and I was not disappointed, I personally loved the game from start to finish, I know people complain that it's too similar to Zelda and not enough like a Star Fox game but I don't care, Zelda is amazing and if you want a proper starfox game on the gamecube then play Star Fox Assault! I used to obsess over the changes the game went through during development, collecting images from different stages of the games creation. there is a great page here that explains all the changes it went though and some early screenshots if anyone is interested. http://www.unseen64.net/2009/07/17/starfox-adventures-gamecube-beta/

I don't know if the ds is too new to be nostalgic about i'll only consider some older, first gen ds games, the game i most fondly remember from the original ds, before the ds lite was released, is probably another code: two memories, this was a fantastic atmospheric adventure game with elements of old classic point and click adventures such as myst, mixing detailed puzzles and some very clever use of the ds's features it was a very strong early title for the system and one I still play and enjoy today! If you are in america, the game is called "Trace Memory" instead, so search for that! There was also a sequel on the Wii but that only got a release in the UK, it is just as good as the DS one, but a lot longer!

Thanks for reading,

I hope you enjoyed a look at some of my most nostalgic games, if you want to share any of yours please do so in the comments! I'd love to find out what games other people are nostalgic about as well!

WiiU = Dreamcast 2?

The WiiU has nearly been out for half a year now and it hasn't got off to the best of starts. After the initial launch hype there has yet to be a new release that has been able to sell units. Since getting the console I have only picked up one extra game, that being Darksiders 2, which, although a good game, can also be purchased on other consoles for half the price. People are confused with the system, worried that it is not a true "Next Gen" console, that it wont be able to keep up with the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Nintendo is in a bad position at the moment, no new first party games since launch. (no, Lego City doesn't count, even if it is a fun game) Barely any third party support, with EA actually saying that for the near future they will not be supporting the WiiU at all! Will the WiiU go the way of the Dreamcast? I doubt it will go that bad for Nintendo and here's why I think they could make a strong comeback in the later half of this year and beyond...

First Party Exclusives:

With Pikmin 3 being released in a few months time this will start the ball rolling for Nintendo, much like how before Ocarina of Time 3D was released on the 3DS there had been barely any support for the console. Pikmin is a much anticipated game for Nintendo fans, a game some people may have been waiting for before getting a WiiU. I understand that Pikmin is still quite a niche game and this brings me onto the next exclusive which is much more popular, this is The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. Although its just a remake / port of the GameCube original many people have not experienced the game before and for those who have, to be able to play it again with new HD graphics and yet to be announced "gameplay improvements" should make this a game that many people are looking forward to!

As well as these two blockbuster first party games, E3 is coming soon. (in 8 days at the time of writing) Nintendo has already stated that we will see at least the next Mario Kart, Smash Bros and brand new 3D Super Mario game! I'm sure there will be many more surprises too.

Miiverse and the eShop:

For people who already have a WiiU, Miiverse has proved to be a big draw (no pun intended...) where thousands of gamers come together to discuss games, their favourite characters or just draw cool pictures, it has a great community at the moment, full of friendly like minded gamers, Nintendo is doing well to constantly update the service with all new releases so players have their own communities to discuss the games. At the moment this service is exclusive to the WiiU (and smartphones, but you need a WiiU to make an account), but soon it will also be supported on the 3DS.
The eShop got off to a slow start, with only a few games available, but now it has been online for a while the service has really kicked off, with the Virtual Console launching last month with classics such as Super Mario World and Super Metroid there is lots for gamers to enjoy, and don't forget, the entire Wii Virtual Console is also available on the WiiU  and if you already own a game on the Wii's download service you can upgrade to the WiiU version for a discounted price. As well as VC games there has also been a few original titles for the eShop including an excellent HD remake of Mighty Switch Force as well as the ability to digitally download most retail WiiU games, the eShop should not go ignored and is a bold step by Nintendo into the digital download market.

Unique third party games:

If the WiiU ends up following the same path as the Wii, with very little multi-format titles but plenty of original titles, this could be a good thing! The Wii got many games from developers that were exclusive to the system and very well received both in terms of reviews and sales, games such as No More Heroes, Pandora's Tower and Fragile dreams to name a couple, made the Wii a great console for the more obscure and interesting games of the last generation. It's quite likely that with the WiiU's unique controls and ideas, many companies are already creating interesting games that can only be possible on the WiiU, lets just hope some get shown at this years E3! One of the main reasons to buy a Wii, especially after a few years on the market, was the surprising amount of decent original IP's that originated thanks to the Wii, admittedly the WiiU is not likely to get quite the large install base that the Wii received, hopefully this won't put developers off. It's a catch 22 situation, Dev's wont make games for it until there's enough of an install base, but people wont buy it unless there's a good amount of releases..

Guess we'll just have to wait and see if the WiiU can pick up the pace after E3 this year!
Here's to a good future for Nintendo's new console!

... Meanwhile... The 3DS is selling millions so no need to worry about Nintendo's financial situation, they just released the 42nd Special edition and with Animal Crossing coming out soon the 3DS is just going to get even more popular!

I'm not dead!

Me at Gamescom!
Hello everyone, it's been over a year since my last post, December 2011! A lot has happened in the past year as far as gaming goes, I've been to several events to play the latest games, including Gamescom in Germany last August. I was trying for a while to edit together a YouTube video of Gamescom but Movie Maker decided to be an idiot and not save it properly so that never got uploaded in the end. I was a bit disappointed that Nintendo wasn't at the show but it was still a fun experience, lots of games on show and some very long queue's to play some of them.. I did get to play the WiiU before it was released thanks to Ubisoft and Rayman Legends! (Which still hasn't been released!) Nintendo has confirmed they will be there this year so I'm much more excited already!

Apart from Gamescom I also went to all the usual MCM expo's. I did several cosplays last year, including,
Blue Link (Four Swords), Pit (Kid Icarus), Nick (Lollipop Chainsaw) and Gary Oak (Pokemon). Most of them, actually all of them, with help from my girlfriend! I also went to Eurogamer and Gamefest, both of which were big game events with all the latest (and retro) games playable! I particularly enjoyed Eurogamer for its expansive retro section! I finally got to play on a Neo-Geo AES system! Is it bad that I was more excited for that and Hotel Mario than any of the new games on show? Talking of Neo-Geo I did manage to get a Neo-Geo Pocket Color and have four games for it currently including Sonic Pocket Adventure and Metal Slug! The D-Pad/Analogue Stick/ I have no idea what to call it, is amazing!

As for my collection, I'm sure I have lots of new things to talk about since the last update! Here are two Games I Got Recently video's from last year.

Also if you want to keep up to date on my game purchases and more, please check out my Backloggery page here: http://www.backloggery.com/nicktendowii

Of course the biggest release for me last year was the WiiU! i got it at launch, actually got it the day before launch thanks to being so excited about it! At launch i picked up New Super Mario Bros. U and Sonic Transformed  as well as Nintendo Land which came bundled with the console. Since then I ave also got ZombiU and Darksiders 2. I have enjoyed all the games on it so far and can't wait for more new releases  Pikmin 3 can't come soon enough! If you want to add me on Miiverse then just search Nicktendowii and I should be there!

I won't mention all the obvious Nintendo releases I've enjoyed over the past year so instead I'll pick out some of the more interesting games I've played instead. First that comes to mind is Silent Hill Shattered Memories on the Wii, its not a traditional survival horror game, more of a cinematic experience with an engaging story and very detailed environments, especially for the Wii, it's well worth playing if you like horror games and want something a bit different to the usual Resi or Alone in the dark style, although don't expect many jump scares, this is more of a psychological horror game.

Next that I want to mention is a Sega Megadrive / Genesis game called Soleil, I picked it up on holiday at one of my favourite game shops (Lee's Games in Morecambe if anyone is interested, its definitely worth a visit!) The game is similar to any 16-Bit action adventure game with lovely top down sprites and very catchy music. The main addition to this game that makes it stand out from the norm is the use of different animals which you can use to gain new abilities and access new areas, for example a butterfly which lets you throw your sword and control it in the air, or a cheetah which makes you run faster. The game is called Crusader of Centy in other countries.
Must be a good game, it has a volcano section!
Probably the best DS game I played in the past year (that wasn't Pokemon) has to be Megaman Starforce, I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it as much as the Battle Network games due to the new battle system and different characters but it turned out to be a really enjoyable game, I managed to find a copy of the much rarer second game but I've yet to start it. Recently I've got quite a few new Megaman games for my collection, several imports from Japan, including Rockman 7, X2 and X3, as well as all the virtual console re-releases so far! I also got the rare Megaman art book, Complete Works, a Megaman 10 plushie, a 15th anniversary Megaman figure, a Megaman hoodie, another Megaman art book, Megaman IV on gameboy.. The list goes on. Plenty of new blue bomber goodies even if Capcom won't give me anything new! (No, Xover and Street Fighter X Megaman don't count!)
I haven't had as much time to make video's or write here recently so I'm sorry for the long absence and I hope perhaps I can get back into writing at least!

Thanks for reading!

Sorry to keep ya waiting!
